Antique mirror on left was my Great Grand parents. H.M. Miller's.
Picture frame on right was found in the attic of the Miller home some 45 years ago and restored.
The library table was stored in Mon's basement for the last 50 years and had water damage and had to be completely taken apart and re-glued and a new finish coat applied.
On the right is an old card file box that the back had so much water damage that the back had to be rebuilt and then it was mounted on a new base.
The chairs are the only one's left from a set of eight that belonged to Tom and Bea Parks (Gary's grandparents) new seat and back covers were put on them and only minor touch ups done.
The old clock was grandpa Paul Patterson's and will go to Brett when he re-locates.
Another re-do was the dresser what was from a kit and made over 30 years ago.
Robyn wanted it raised up 6 inches and a new finish coat applied.
It took over a week to build a base that would support and be stable enough to hold the weight of the loaded dresser. All the hardware was cleaned polished and re-coated with a protective lacquer.
Now for the new paint job in the living room. The South wall is now a sage green and the pictures were all moved around. Above the fireplace is a Chalk drawing by Sheila Shepard one of my staff members at the CBO. It was given to me when I retired. I really looks great with the new wall color.
Still more projects in the works.
